Here is an ongoing project happening down at 350Rangies workshop (Hardcore 4x4)

MQ with 3" body lift and 2" suspension lift wearing 36" Pedes :D

I reckon more of pic five and drop an inch from the body lift. Angle grinders are your friend ;D

Sorry BTNed, I've hijacked your thread. I've day dreamed about building up an old MQ LWB and I reckon they are a great basis for a project. The problem is finding one without any rust. My first MQ looked immaculate from the outside, but had hidden nasties in the sub frame, radiator supports, floor, etc.

Apart from that, these old trucks are just begging for mods, I reckon.

looks like theres a cantelever system linking the axle to a coil spring that's mounted right up in the body work...

EDIT: pics on OL confirm!

Next is some repairs for the last lot of carnage, worn clutch didnt like the 36's, blew a hub to bits, bent drag link & finish the gaurds properly.

Heres sum progress made on the rear bar. the rear quarters will be cut and the bar wrapped around underneath

nice rig, dose it have the standard engine (sd33) or is 350ci
or somthin else??????
if so how dose it drive power wise?? ive got mq shorty with
a sd33 and ive got 33" bfg muddies and its a tad slow :(

too bad the owner aint on the forum lol. its got std engine, i think its got extractors. think its pretty slow with the 36"s on too ::)

yer it dose have extractors, he had to get them custom made

Got a turbo kit from ebay coming within the next week or so, will keep you posted & maybe get some new pics.
