Just thought i'd post a few words onthe New Trxus, by Interco.
First appearance of the tyre is , boy , you can see the close design to a swamper. The Sidewalls are Thick and meaty, and the tread blocks are of similar design. The Weight of the tyre also shows the mass of rubber in its construction.
All 4 balanced up to 0 / 0 when fitted to ROH Trak II with Simex Tubes.
The Tyres perform well on road, and quieter than first thought. The handled well in the road / gravel initial test we conducted. A little slippery in the wet, but for a dedicated mud tyre, able to cover large mounts of on road distances to get to the trail they should prove to be a real favourite. All the construction strengths of a swamper, without the noise and wandering road characteristics....
More info to come, once we get the Prado Dirty...
And some flares fitted....... :o

They are around the $400 mark, + rims + tubes :) (only get Simex Tubes)
a bit pricey, but i go on Value, not purchase price.
these tyres look solid, have a tread pattern that appears to work, and backed by a proven manufacturer.
Steve
I thought they drove nicely too... not unlike an MTR with better side lugs and stronger construction......

Hairy little suckers ;)
Actually they look like they'd be a pretty good compromise tyre.....Are they speed rated?

No Idea, Will looksy tonight when I Get Home :)
The have all the Good points of a Swampers (thick meaty sidewalls, sidetall tread, deep outside tread blocks, open pattern) yet without the wandering characteristics of the TSL and little noise... (I was REALLY surprised how quiet they are)

Wouldn't yours be one of the first of the new model's to get lifted?
Are all of the bits needed (springs & shocks) the same as previous model Prado, or something else on the market?
