it doesnt really bother me if i can add something to the post i do but im am only a newbie to 4wd driving and not really into the tech side of it i just like getting out there and enjoy thee days driving and when i get the money i will add something new ti my rig.

This is very true - actually it's interesting to see how many forums ditch the count & titles - especially where the post-button is readily over-abused.....

I just had a privacy filter installed, so when someone walks past, they think I am mad because they see a black screen.

We had a dept change recently & my new manager doesn't mind what I do, providing I get all of my work done.
On the first day, I had just started surfing & the big boss walked in & my screen was the first thing he saw.
I then decided no surfing until I can cover myself, which I have done now.

Im my own boss currently...... laptop and desktop means I can work and play.... just need to convert the hobby to a tax deduction now......

Quality not quantity of posts is what will make or break this forum. If newbies come here and find nothing but an "incrowd" and lots of meaningless replies then they will move on.........

As they will also move on if there are no replies at all.
This is also a social thing for people to meet other people with a common interest, not just an information service.
Us people who post replies to help other out are not employees of the forum, but subscribers who are happily helping out other subscribers.
If a little bit of fun is had as well, that could be one of the things that retains the respondees. ;)

Quality will could for little is there's no quantity....Also loads of quantity generally detracts from quality.....Damned if you do & damned if you don't.
I think the most important thing is that there are a core group that will at least respond to questions & statements & keep the place ticking over....
Also I don't think the forum's been advertised in the mag yet - so when that happens I'd expect more than a few new names appear....

My opinion is that there were more last weekend than any other to date, so I guess with the way the forum has been ticking over & getting more new topics, it is starting to create a more interesting site.
