As usual I've left it late to decide what to do easter. May play out on the tracks up at Gloucester Tops. It's always fun pulling the leeches off yer boots before they get inside. :-\

So how'd it go at Barrington Tops? I ended up at Bulahdelah, you must haver copped as much wet stuff as we did. muddy, slippy fun and new clutch needed.

Anybody know of any private 4WD parks in Victoria??? I need places to go 4WDriving but I don't want to go to the middle of nowhere! Just some 4WDriving for the day :)

Just spent Easter in the Otaway Ranges, plenty of good tracks there. I just need a few more long weekends to explore them all.

I've been through the Otways, but only with the LTD :P

What are the tracks like? Difficult? Or just nice...

Goodz,

lots of 'nice' tracks, good for a Sunday drive but also some quite dificult (when wet) tracks as well.
It appears they close the bad tracks during winter.
I would have liked to have gone back this weekend but Ill have to wait till next long weekend. >:(

i just had a play in a mud puddle on some vacant land (100acres) round the corner,

tried to go around the ickiest stuff but the old girl just slid straight in sideways, no damage, just rang a neighbour, 10 minutes later i'm hosing the mud off.

Not really a top track, but it was fun for a lazy saturday.

update:

Due to recent rain it was green North of Andamooka, including plenty of water in the creeks.

An enjoyable, if not particularly challenging, 3 day trip. Andamooka and Farina are interesting places to start and finish a trip.

8 vehicles, 1 tyre destroyed, 1 punctured. Neither were on my Patrol.
