Hi Guys

I took the family out to Stanthorpes "The Springs 4x4 Park" over easter 2009. It was our fisrt visit to the park and we had a ball. I would liked to have seen a lot more of the park but my stock Pajero wouldn't have been able to handle the more difficult tracks. We hired a camper trailer and and even though it rained pretty much the whole weekend it was still a great weekend. Actually the rain made it a lot more fun. We actually surprised ourselves with the Pajero, it performed really well and even surprised a few others at the park i think. We plan to go back but will wait until we have given the Paj a 2 inch lift and some bigger feet. Should be able to tackle a bit more then. The whole story and plenty of pics and vids can be seen here The Springs 4x4 Park (http://www.boating4x4camping.com.au/the_springs_4x4_park.htm)

Looks like fun Robo. I'd like to get out there sometime. Everyone always underestimates the ol mighty Paj. Usually the people who have never driven one.

Hey Snapcatcher

It's definetly worth a visit. The park is under new ownership now and apparently they are building some new tracks at the moment as well as building a new cafe. Not the best place to visit during winter though, gets very cold. We will most likely do it again next Easter. Want to do Landcruiser park soon too.
