Once upon a time in a land far far away..........

Sunday - What a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!

Jay mad it up Eaton Tk, back out the same way in, but then Mark got a little stuck about 3/4 the way up the first hill....

You couldn't stand on the road with out slipping down - Dam Hwy terrain sneakers .......

http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii320/vrynys/P5250073.jpg

Well after a small brown undie moment for Mark, we ended up tying 4 straps together and driving down under some sort of control

We gave up the idea for going up the hill and then headed
- East along Eaton Tk
- then north towards McGuire Tk, but someone left a stick on the road ;)

With a little pushing and winching, we turned around and went
- south along Toombon Tk
- north along Donnelly Tk
- north along Walhalla Rd

Lunch just by the river near Anderson Camp ground, where we had the:

First Annual Rock Skimming Contest

Contenders were Osh and Ethan

After a hard fought battle the winner by count back was Ethan!!!

Zako left us there after lunch.

We kept heading north along Walhalla Rd and we left Jay and Stu at Noble Spur Tk.

Well there is not much to tell from there, we were going to look for a camp spot along the river but we all know what happened to that plan.

We camped by the track there and then Monday waited for the tow truck, then headed home.

Well the car was parked at the top of a hill and with the hand brake on and wheels at full lock it decided to drive down the hill........ we originally thought that another car was heading our way. It drove for about 500m through ditches and around a few trees, but then cam to rest against a tree with a rather large thud.

There wasn't anyone in the car at the time.

God bless good insurance.

I spoke with Mark and all is good and he is on his way to pick her up after buying it back from the insurance agency.

Not sure on his next project though??

Good report and piccy's.

I saw you guys up at Walhalla just before you left the car park. I recoginsed VRYNYS's car and rego and spoke to Stu as you were all mounting up.

Glad it was a good trip and sorry to hear about the shorty!

I'll post my report up soon to see the difference between routes taken.

Sounds like you guys had a great weekend, apart from the misshap. Also a bit dodgy attaching two straps with a shackle.
