Hi, thanks to those who came and had a great time in the mud and rain!

I've managed to post a few videos on YouTube:
YouTube - DEVL04B's Channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/DEVL04B)

Looking forward to seeing more photos and can burn DVD copies of mine for everyone else to distribute.

Looks like you had some fun in the mud, did you have a play on the southern tracks just out of Bordertown?

You mean continuing on past Emu Flat Rd... I think it's Pine Hill Rd or something.... yes we did all that towards Bordertown too

Was some great mud, and didn't see too many recoveries either.

Did anyone get a shot of your dads Jack with a front wheel ten thousand feet in the air? I was right behind him but didnt have the camera out.

I only have that video on YouTube 'Grump gives it a go!' where I saw a wheel lift on the Jackaroo... but I think we all did that at one point or another.

Do you have mapsource or something to upload from to your GPS? I can provide all GPS track logs and waypoints we have from our trip

The only one (waypoint) you'd need is the turn off to Red Bluff camp cos the sign isnt there. Other than that, just keep heading south (the track is a straight line), and when you get to the "end", keep going south and follow it where it turns south west ;)

That would be great thanks MAVRK-4 :waycool:.

I do have mapsource so that would work well. Just let me know what format you would like to send them in or how.

I am only new to SA, I have been here now for about 18 months and am still learning my way around the state. So any info I can get on any 4WD treks and tours around the place is great.

The last time i was up at red bluff(3mnths ago) the sign was gone, so i wrote on the pole with black texta, pity it wasn't a bigger tip texta, hard to read at distance. i reported it to DEH victoria, they said it is the responsibility of parks SA, so i rang them, and they where going look in to it ;)

........................ so it still hasn't been replaced?

........................ so it still hasn't been replaced?LOL, they've (both states) been arguing where the actual border line is since its surveys in the late 1800's! Red Bluff camp itself is on the Vic side. Government departments arguing over whose responsibility it is? Never heard of that! lol.

No new sign up there 3 weekends ago when I was up there. Texta musta faded lol.
Its easy to find the turn off anyway. Its 1km past the The Red Bluff to Murrayville Track turn off, on the left.

check out the Coorong National park as well some good sand driving over there as well. Would sugest going with at least 2 vehicle just to be safe but if you go on a weekend there is usually plenty of Fishos chasing Salmon and mulloway and the od shark if they are lucky
