alrighty then. what will need to be done to put a 1.0L sierra engine and gearbox into a '78' Suzuki LJ50. and are the LJ50 and sierra 4 speeds same size, bolt pattern??

Why don't you put the 1.3 in?
Mind you the engine sits a long way forward in the LJ, will need the fan taken off it and an electric unit in front of it. Also the 1.3 carby is a downdraft so may need a bonnet hole or something to mount the air hose to it. You will also get the 5-speed.

I bet if I say something like "Lucky the Overlander forum doesn't have the same policy or half the current members wouldn't even know this place existed" :o it would be frowned upon, so I won't. ;D ;)
I will have a gripe that the Overland board has broken down AGAIN though... Hope this turns out to be a bit more reliable... ::)

1.3 is 2 expensive 4 me and i hav got a 1 litre anyway, just wanted some idea of any not so obvious things that may need to be done to get it in
