Stolen Jeep Cherokee Sport XJ 1996

Stolen: 21/3/09 @ 5am.
Location: Broadview, S.A 5083
Just off the top of Regency road

Woke up to it being started but was too late to the door when it sped off.

LPG Tank Inside Vehical

White XJ, Faily Stock, Stock Rims Painted Black. Hayman Reese Tyre Carrier. Tube Front Bar with Warn Tabor 9k, Big MOPAR Sticker on the rear window. Southern Cross Stars on Either side Window Along with a Sticker for the Day my mate passed away reading "RIP Trent Bond 3/8/88 - 13/9/08". Has about a 2" lift with OME Nitro Charger Shocks. Windows are tinted. Rear drivers brake light is cracked but fixed slightly. Rims have no centre caps. Rear spare tyre has JEEP cover. Driveshafts are painted Red along with diff hats, Twin Electric Thermo’s, Aftermarket Radiator. Loads of other gear.

Maybe 2k in Vehicle value, but well over 5k in stuff inside and out!

Sound System, Sony Xplod Deck FX5740?, Jaycar 2x150 Amp, Digital Designs 3512D (800bucks worth), Axis Audio 5chan Amp with the top of it polished. Rear Pioneer 6x9's in Box's.

Tools: KC and AM Pro Socket sets, Blue Case has 1/4 and 3/8 Bits, Complete. Red Kit has 1/2" drive also complete. Fold up Pouch includes Imp/Met Spanners. Various Bits and pieced of drivers, wrenches and anything for a jeep. eg Duct tape and Zip ties.

Other: Mopar oil steering, Few Heim Joints, Shackles, TMAX Tow strap, Had fuel cards inside to value of $100. Winch remote, Volcom Hat, Prada Sunnies, and loads of other gear that a 20y/o carries. GPS Unit + Garmen Etrex unit.

If you see anyone in the next few days trying to pawn off parts similar to the ones above, i have lots more inside the car please don’t hesitate to call me!

Hey, yeh one thing which is modded to the body is the front wheel arches have been chopped about 4" to gain ground clearance.

Has 3rd party, but they dont want to cover contents due to the fact they think im making to much up.. They dont see how a speaker can cost about 900 bucks retail.

Vehical was recovered! @ 7pm 23/3/09

Found in a dodgy area about 5mins away from my place.

They have gone over the whole thing. Stereo, Amps, Tools Tow Ropes, Winch Remote. both Gps's and loads of other small gear. all up about 1000 or so dollars worth of stolen and damaged goods.

Vehical also has a major sag in the rear drivers side. sag of about 1-2inches.

I would like to thanks everyone for their support and help with this matter.

I am relieved but will still have that anger in me for a long time. But the bulk of car is there and thats the main thing. It is covered all over in black fingerprinting dust so a wash is in order and i will most likley do a complete tear down of the inside and start again.

If anyone is able to help me out with were to get new key barrels and ignition seing as they are rooted that would be great.
