I need to remove the front passenger side fender on my 85' 4runner and have run into two strippped bolts. One is on the rear most mounting point underneath the passenger door and the other is the rear most mount just underneath the bonnet on the inside of the engine bay. Both of these locations mean that it is impossible to get the angle grinder in there, and even so it would be good to be able to get another bolt in there in the future. Does anyone have any tricks they reckon would work? And how should I go about getting another bolt in there in the future?
Cheers,
Mark

Any ideas? Ive tried levering the bolt heads up with a flathead and then trying to get the bolts out but the threads still aren't gripping. It doesnt matter how many times I turn it the threads still wont grip. Also tried drilling it out with the cordless drill but the bolt just spins around. Its driving me nuts! Anyone with any ideas let me know!
Cheers,
Mark

So just incase anyone else ever has this problem (I dont envy you) I ended up just hitting the tope bolt from underneath the washer with a mini flathead a few times with the hammer. Tried the same on the bottom bolt in a hop that I could break the bolt head off. No luck. Ended up just ripping the panel off and I'll deal with it later! You wouldn't want to have to reuse the panel though!
