does any one know how to wire in a aftermarket air pump into the air suspension? hi have try'd running a relay but can't find the wire to switch it on and off when it needs to :crazy:

any help would be great!

well got this sorted, it was a computer problem as well.

for any one else that wants to know. we ran a new power supply from the battery to the + of the new pump with a fuse in there as well. the old green (+) wire from the rangie into 12v on /off of a 100 amp relay with the orange wire on that to (thermal cut off. this needs to be done or it will log folts and close down the system) then the - of the pump to one side of the relay and a earth off the other side of the relay.

all up it cost me $450 when a new was going to cost $600 plus. the pump came with a 3l air tank that i'll put in as well to air up tyres when i get a chance.

the pump we used is a boss pump from hobbiess 4x4 (think thats there name) it works great, pumps the tank up in about 1 min from dead flat.
