leaking fuel pump?????????

my fuel pump on my 2l is leaking pretty bad it looks like its coming from the bottom of the pump, being a diesel virgin does this sound like a o ring seal problem or is the pump rooted? is it worth chasing a pump from the wreckers, a reco one or just save my coin for a new one........cheers

best bet is to get the pump rebuilt it will be a housing gasket or oring

take it to a reputable diesel service mob( if your in brisbane i have a couple i use for work) and they will sort it out for you. easiest way

Most common area for them to leak is the throttle shaft seal.
Its just an o ring.
get a new top housing gasket and max fuel screw o ring at the same time.

Have a good look at it after you have cleaned it.
