Tacho Proplem On 4.2turbo Diesel Patrol

Hi Guys,I'm wanting to know where the tacho picks up from.My one's not working since I had the engine out,I've checked the instriment cluster and thats ok.Cheers.

Tacho pick-up is on the timing cover at about 11 o`clock in reference to the balancer. Between the balancer and the fuel pump gear access plate.
