Seen as though there have been numerous request for "mechanic in XXX area" etc I thought it may be good to have a place to post requests and referals. I will try to keep an updated list of mechanics and phone numbers along with referers username at at the top of the page for future referance.
Note:- 4WD Action/Express Publications holds no responsibility to referals or repairs made.

Hi guys.. just wondering if there are any good diesel tuners around. I'm on the gold coast but would goto brisbane to have it done... I just don't trust the guys who rebuilt my pump and injectors to play with that stuff as they were keen to only do things to manufaturers specs....

Cornells in Laverton
Took the Bravo 2.5TD yesterday to Cornells yesterday for a Timing chain change, tappet check, injector reco and general health check, runs very Sweet !:thumb:
The shop is like a Formula One workshop, spotless !!, nice change from the usual grimy workshop and the guy that I dealt with, Chris was very knowledgeable and willing to discuss a few things with me.
Dieselcentregc, thanks for the tip, will be going back

Hey Blurter, can't personally recommend anyone, but on the LCOOL forum there couple of recommendations for Cooma Diesel and Queanbeyan Diesel. Don't know if that helps.

Thanks Mate.
Yeah, Cooma Diesel has the advantage of a dyno, but I've heard mixed reports.
Queenbeyan have a good rep, but don't have a dyno.
Or there's Berima Diesel, but they are a fair way away from Canberra.
