Where in Sydney?

My local independent LR mechanics, KLR Automotive in Kingswood (Penrith) sell Penrite oils. I usually get my 20 litre drums (not diesel but HPOR Gas) off them.

Both Autobarn and Repco stores stock Penrite oils. Depending on the size of the store they may or may not actually carry HPR Diesel 15 in stock, but they could certainly order it in.

I've gotta recommend it, too. With a 2.5-litre diesel pushing a two-tonne fourby I reckon it's really cheap insurance against engine troubles.

My old GQ which has done a minimum of 300,000k's used to use about 1 - 2l's of Shell's finest between oil changes.

Since switching to Penrite, consumption has dropped to zero.

Repco is the easy source.

Got me hilux 2.8 d hot, real hot. Had it blowing smoke out the dipstick like a steam train, then she stoped. I thought I was up for a new engine, but oil pressure and compression readings were all still real good. I put it down to using Penrite HRP diesel oil, but told all the Nissan drivers I knew it was because it was a Toyota.
Secrets out. :o

I use Penrite HPR Diesel 15 in my GQ and it works great, uses no oil between changes and doesn't matter how hard i push the truck. The diesel mechanic i now only uses HPR Diesel 15.
