The biggest negative about 4WD Monthly is the pathetic subscription service they work through.
Has anyone tried to phone or contact their advertised 1800 801 647 number?
They don’t respond to emails either.
They are just a joke.

I’ll buy anyone 6 cold frosty brown bottles if they can get to speak to anyone human there with 10 mins!

I sent in a 2yr subscription by fax about 3 - 4+ weeks ago - never received any sort of confirmation. Today I get a subscription renewal in the mail – again – their Easter Egg Travanganza
Gees – I know where I’d like top put those eggs!

Well if they have not processed my first sub – they can keep it – there are other mags out there I’d gladly support.

How can such a good mag have such a of wally of a subscription house.

Well if you look in the thread titles "Latest Issue", you'll see that I was complaining about not getting the Accessories guide....Admin suggested I ring the 1800 number which I did.....Within 30seconds I was talking to the Operator and after I'd validated myself and explained my complaint, she quickly offered to get a new copy sent straight out to me.....I was impressed & you owe me a beer ;)

I did ring at 9:01am so maybe that had something to do with it - but I would seriously suggestthat you actually ring them up and actually speak to them rather than relie upon emails....I do get the feeling the the net-thing is fairly new to them & the process.... :-X

John, sorry you are not happy with the service you've received. if you would like to call the office (02) 9748 0034 and ask for Tim, we'll try and put things right.

Called the office again last week - operator(s) still busy, so left a voice message with details.

Received a phone call 2 days later and sorted out the matter.

I find it strange that you renew a sub and do not get a confirmation of any kind, but you do get another renewal notice a month later...

Anyway, it's sorted out.
