What a Mad man :o :o :o
Nice truck through. ;D
is that the first vehicle to drive that last waterfall then?
And it would appear they have the front suspension winched to compress, to stop it pushing off on the top???

Are there any in progress shots?
Yes there is progress shots however they are not being released as yet. These were taken by a US magazine photographer and i beleive they may appear in a copy of 4WD and Sport Ute in the furure.
And yes other vehicles have driven this waterfall in the past. But very few that have witnesses or are known of.
I new it was fairly well known as "never been driven" for a while, but alot of progress in vehicles, and drivers has been made of late in the rock crawling arena.

Yes it has all only been in recent times.
As far as I know this was the frist unassisted drive of the water fall ie no winching was involved.
Gotta love that grill. ;D ;D ;D

Last year at EJS 3 rigs from waggoneer machine shop drove this totaly un-assisted also. And the WMS rig drove it the day befor with one person on a strap slightly.
But these are all aprox 120" wheel base and Johnny G is only 103" :o
I stand corrected then, sorry mate. :P :P

Are there any famous 4WD obstacles/trails that have never been driven?
It would be a good challenge for any driver and vehicle to attempt the previously unachievable. Also makes a great conversation point.

That is awesome.
Im sure that spot has claimed a few rollovers
I wonder what tricks they use to help out.
As mentioned the front springs are compressed with the winch, Maybe the tyres are smoked to heat them up and make them sticky,
Did he fill the front tyres with water for traction on top ?
Love to see the video !!! ;D
