Hi every one just a quick question about my xj (i will get a quicker responce in general chat and more brains to rack) i am keepig the standard rims for now but i need to know the largest size tyre i can go on thse rims with no lift. Im thinking 235x75 but would like bigger if it wont foul. Will 30"x9.5 fit on a standard rim with out fouling at flex.
Cheers NT

Yep, 30x9.5 They'll rub a tiny bit on the lower control arm at full flex but you can adjust the steering stops or leave it its so minor.

On our TJ we had the same rims you have and we fitted 31x10.5r15 and they were great.

True - but they will not fit a standard XJ.
30x9.5 is the largest that will just fit a stock XJ.
Also will juuust fit in the stock spare mount too.

Unfortunately in good ole QLD anything bigger than 235/75/15 on an Xj is illegal..... if that bothers you but can affect your insurance....
