Im planning on building some rear drawers for my 80, only Im in Sydney and my car is in Brisbane.
I was wondering if someone has the dimeninons of the rear cargo area of an 80. ie, width and depth to the rear seats

hi i built mine from cubelock allumim and the dimentions are 1.1m wide 1.00 long and 200-220 high

tuffrunner... do you have a link to photo's or can you post some up.

I have just built some out of wood, but found them to be too heavy in the rear, and have come here today to look for an alloy job.. really interested to see some photos

Where can you purchase the cube lock? what stores ? or is there someone online i can get it from?

Depth depends on how high you want to go with your drawer system.. as I had a large waeco I wanted to fit I put the fridge on one side and two drawers on top of each other on the other side.

This raised the height of it to whatever it came to (can't recall) so the depth of the unit then reduced to 900mm as the rear seats lay back and the higher you go with the drawers the shallower the box needs to be to fit.

My unit ends pretty much at the top of the rear seats if that gives you any clues to the height that I went.
