Fitted a new set of injecters in the GQ mid week and although I've only used about a 1/4 tank thus far, I've lost about 20km. It seems to accelerate smoother up until the top end of 3rd, but in 4th it's a slug up to 100kmh. The fuel screw did get a bit of a tweek about 6 months ago because we had to slip in a new top cover gasket on the injecter pump, and I'm now thinking the screw is out of wack. Any clues would be greatly appreciated

This happens sometimes if the injector pump is on the worn side or if the pump timing is out.
Get the injection timing checked, then, if its in spec, pull the pump and have it looked at...
Has the engine done a lot of kays?

It's only just turned over 200,000 km's. Can the injector pump be timed at home, or does it require specialist equipment?

You do need the special tool to time these pumps accurately. You can buy the tool from Toyota (will work on a Nissan) for about $100 and you also need dial gauge to clamp into the tool. Check Nissan`s price, but IMO the Toyota tool is more versatile and compact.
Not a hard job to do, just fiddly. Follow the Nissan manual carefully and you`ll be right...
