I just bought a safari snorkel, (coming in a week or 2) and they're telling me im going to have problems with my half doors and soft top ect.
what problems will i run into? or is this all just blown out of proportion . .

the snorkel runs from front qtr panel to top of door panel
1000's of wranglers have sarfari snorkels ...who's telling you these things

Not gonna bad mouth any companies, but i was told i would have trouble taking half doors off?
im guessing not..

Yes and No.
It will fit fine and it will interfere with removing the soft door uppers. All that is required is a small extension or washers to the upper bolt to make the snorkel sit a little bit further forward so it doesn't get in the way of the upper. Some jeep mechanics/specialists/parts suppliers know this but most ARB centres don't because they deal with toyo/nizmos all day and rarely touch a wrangler.

I think he meant removing the doors completely from the vehicle Jeeps. As in lifting them off the hinges.

snorkel arrived today, fitting it tomorrow hopefully all gets done..

Removing the door uppers - you can either mount the snorkel like Jeeeps said - or you can just snip about 3cm off the front prong....will still mount properly but will give the room required to fit.
Removing the lower door - This is a PITA with the Safari snorkel - bascially you need to all but remove the snorkel......

Snorkel is all fitted,
no porblems appeared that couldnt be fixed . .
some mistakes were made, without mistakes theres no learning.

wouldnt have been possible without me dad helpin me :crazy:

Nah it's just the uppers that get in the way.
