For those who read my last thread re: new Hilux CV's self destructing (was deleted, no doubt due to 4wdmonthly's affiliation with Toyota :)) this is the end result!
All you Datsun fans, you had a win this time. No frills, dual Airbags, half decent economy and a bulletproof driveline makes the Patrol a no-brainer for a bush truck....
...however as soon as the new V8 70 series has dual airbags, watch out Nissan, time for a trade in! m
The 3 litre 4 banger isnt all that bad either, even with a bit of gear in it, it goes alright, much better than i expected.
Still, being a Nissan, i expect it to rattle to bits before long......
