fuel pump manual

I have been thinking of having a crack at resealing my hilux fuel pump after it started leaking, and was after a manual or a parts break down so I can have a look at whats involved. I have had a look around on the www but haven't been able to find anything.
Now before people get carried away with how hard and technical this job might be, at this point in time I am only looking at whats involved, and I am an aircraft mechanic by trade and have had some expirience with systems similar to this. I also have access to specialist tools at said work place.

hey buddy how did you go finding a manual?? my pump is leaking too might have a go myself if you think its possible

G'day Fellas - also have a leaking fuel pump in 2.8 '96 Hilux - be interested to hear the outcome of your efforts. Hopefully mine is just the seals 'inside the bottom bit with the 2 hex bolts' (sorry mechanically illiterate - but learning) otherwise I was looking at an exchange unit - $750 from Cooma Diesel / ebay... Cheers

the top seals, and side seals are pretty easy to do.

I just cleaned the outside of mine with prewash (pre painting product) and then ran some selleys 401 silcone around the top seal on mine, didn't pull anything apart or even take it off the car. Worked for me but I'm a bit of a bush mechanic so my methods might not suit some of us.
