I might have been given the opportunity to get my bum back in the seat of a Jeep.
The handbrake says the Patrol is costing to much in fuel and we need something more economical.
But!!!!! She still wants a good size 4WD.
I have searched forums everywhere for an owners truthful assesment of the fuel economy in the 2.8 Wranglers. Plenty of answers for Petrol models but nothing on Diesel.
So, can someone plese give me some good news on the fuel figures for the 2.8.
And then, Anyone interested in a good 4.2TD GU Patrol? :waycool:

We have a 4dr CRD and we get an average of 12/100. Things to consider are we live on a mountain so we would never be able to give you realistic Hwy figures. I also have a very very heavy foot and we never drive for economy. The JK has heaps of grunt and it is awesome touring with our Lifestyle camper behind it, it has been to the Cape and back plus loads of trips around the SE Qld area.

It is a great car and you will be very happy if you buy one. Good luck.
