shudder from front end

ive also posted this in general tech but im getting a shudder at around 80-100 kph a rough side to side movment then after 50-100m it gets faster and more violent, i checked the bearings today the futherest in hub nut was loose both sides (probably due to coming loose after my build), i tighened it all up check the bearings either side they look fine, then took it for another run same again it starts at the same speed tho it was slightly (slightly) less violent, what could still be the problem? bearing still be damaged? its got me stumped

Could be the wheels out of ballance or starting to go out of round slightly and are all you suspension bushes in good condition

Id check all the linkages and balljoints in ur steering for excessive play, also check ur knuckle arms to make sure they havent broken a stud or r loose. The side to side nature of it suggests it cud be sumthin with the steering. Maybe jack up the front and spin the front wheels and eyeball them for buckles just to be sure but I doubt that wud be the cause. The axle housing isnt shifting on the leaf pack at all?

i think i may have fixed it, my center surport of my drivers side shackle had broken, and 2 u bolt nuts werent as tight as what they should have been so i did abit of welding and tightening,also rotated my wheels 180 degrees to help out the balance. i drove it at 100kph for 30min and it went good so think it was a combination of those things. cheers guys for the help.

Just make sure your steering damper is ok,they allow similar vibration when they are worn out.

I was going to add check the shackles mine had the same movement in the rear a little while ago :D

yeh i must have broken it australia day weekend at lcmp so its driving well now just have to have a check over different parts to make sure there in order after each trip away
