headlight / high beam question

i have a 93 80 series GXL and the other day some weird crap started happening to my high beam. Passenger side is fine but the drivers side when i chuck the high beam on the headlight goes dim and the high beam doesn't activate??

could this be a fuse or relay problem? maybe earth?

i was thinking about a headlight upgrade including wiring loom as my factory on has been butchered rigorously by the previous owner to the extent that there are no more headlight and high beam connectors for the globes

i was thinking about a IPF upgrade or maybe even the Piranha super loom with semi sealed

Sounds more like a bulb needs to be changed!

You know you want to do the upgrade,so just do it and check/clean/protect all your earths,and I mean all of them.
Then your light will be beaut.

i ended up finding the problem it was a bit of wiring (the last owner did a dodgy) and also a fuse

workign all sweet but yes i think the upgrade is going to come shortly
