Interior Carpet

Looking at re doing the interior of my 75 series Trayback with carpet instead of the standard vinyl floor. Also wanna do the doors and behind and under the seats. Have seen some pics of cars with this done and look pretty good, but just worried about how hard it would be too keep clean. Thinking maybe some deep floor mats. Also wanna lift the drivers seat up a tad wondering if anyone out there has done any of these projects before and if there is anything i should know.

Did the boat with blue outdoor carpet. Cops mud and sand and all washes out no problems. Bunnings has a good range of outdoor carpet.
