I thought this 45 would have a 2H motor - but the 2H is a 4L isn't it?

Thanks.
1H? Never heard of it. But I did a bit of a web search and found one bloke who described it as "legendary" with a normal overhaul interval of 500,000km.

At 3.6L I guess it'd be even more gutles than the 2H, altho I guess it'd go OK with the turbo on it.

H 67-82 3576cc

from what i can see this is the motor....so possibly termed a 1H by some...but looks like the official toyota code is merely H....

That is a 2H motor in the pic. Someone has there wires crossed, they never made the H in 1984 it had finished production in the late 70's early 80's

Mines a 79 and it used to have a 2h so it must be a 2h unless someone downgraded motors less efficiency smaller moter less power

Note that the ad reads. It has a 84 motor fitted.Did start life with a H motor but was late fitted with a 2h motor with turbo. What I did with my truck minus the turbo bit.The old H motor did ok.There would have been a few mods to make to get it to fit.Not a striaght swap.

5 speed box as well - although another part of the ad says 4 speed. I should ring the bloke and suss it out - i guess it's out of a 60 series....
