Your looking at about $1000 for reco'd injectors and a general tune. I don't know of any places in Sydney however.
Best off to shave 500-800kgs off the ole Cruiser if you want it to go faster...LOL

Don't worry about getting beaten by a rover on the flat black stuff you'll overtake him when the tough stuff appears!
On a serious note, have you tried fuel additives? My 80 has crossed the 300k mark on the speedo and I have been running 'Morey's' in every tank for the last 6 months.
I reckon it has improved my economy and power.
It's a cheap alternative to a full injector recon.
Cheers,
Matt.

I got mine from 'Supercheap Auto' they had various products available. I'm sure any of the retail auto supply blokes will be able to point you in the right direction.
From memory, one of the 4WD Action 'Challenge's' made a comment on how the performance of an older Pajero TD was improved with a dose of 'Spitfire'.
As for dragging a TD up a hill forget it!
The 4.2 are all 'torque'.
Hope you get the same results as I do.
Cheers,
Matt.
p.s. I reckon if you search the site you will find a thread or three about fuel additives to save you doing to much research.
