have '89 fj62,the electric windows are extremely slow up and down and the wiper motor is the same,despite paying 3 different auto elecs up to $200 each to rectify,problem has still not been fixed., can anyone help and advise on this problem, regards .

Chances are the lift mechanism is worn out like mine is. It gets tight and while the motor might be working OK, it's possible that this is making it too hard for the motor to lift the window. (I don't have electric windows)
Replacement lifters abound on eBay, but I did reasonably well by pulling the winder mechanism out and cleaning & greasing it.

Try graphite powder in the bailey channels (the rubber the glass runs in) other people have used silicon spray.Both methods are best done properly with the doors trims off, so you can access the entire rubber.

If your wiper is also slow, i'd be checking that you are getting 12volts to the motors. Or may be a bad earth lead causing low current supply.
