Here are some photos of a label attached to my V6 4Runner engine, does anyone have any idea what it is and what it means. It has been annoying the hell outta me for quite some time. Thanks.
And what is with the Japanese writing?

Thats just a sticker to say when the timing belt was last done. They come in every genuine toyota timing belt kit.
They usally have english on them but.....Are you running a replacement import engine or something?

I bought the vehicle 2nd hand about 3 years ago with only 110 k's on it, so it may have had an engine change before then. Maybe a previous owner destroyed the engine via a head gasket failure, and the warranty period was up - so they slapped an import in.
The VIN and engine numbers are different - don't know if this is significant or not.
The sticker has 54 k on it so I still have about another 8 k to go before a T-belt change.
Anyways Twisty, thanks a lot for the info.
