Just trying to find out if the new JK Diesel has the Diesel Particulate Filter system and if so has it been an issue.

Yes the JK wrangler does have a particulate filter, have not had an issue with any.
I have not seen one with over 40,000km yet.

Well that's cool, not sure what the difference is with the Jeep version but it seems to be working for them, other breeds seem to be have some issues.
