go to AUSJEEPOFFROAD.COM (http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com) and ask there
I know that others have put them in the tyre well and then put a tyre carrier on a rear bar

I have about a 70lt aux mounted on the left in front of rear axle,it was fitted by ARB at Sumner Park(Bris) it wasnt cheap but its been to cape york twice, across the simpson, south west corner of WA,heaps of dents in bottom from before lift was fitted and have never had any prolems,on hw driving can get about 1100klms from both tanks (4.7 V8)

Dear tardis,
could you let me know the approx cost and the name of the place that you got your aux 70litre tank from? As I'd love to have that extended range capabilities that you now enjoy.
Cheers and safe driving,

What???? Highly illegal to have fuel stored inside a wagon. What ADR would that comply with??
And a tank in a wheel-well ......I don't think so.

Go with the LRA tank. They do good work. The wait can sometimes be a little long but if you find one of their retailers you may find one in stock without having to wait too long ...then again there's not too many Grand Cherokee's around.
By the way LRA is where ARB get their tanks from.
We made an enquiry about an LRA tank for a customer the other day for a Grand Cherokee, they said its a custom made to order jobbie, try giving them a call.

Stampy4x4 I reread all the posts and theres nothing about putting tank inside the car and as far as fitting a tank in the spare well, thats where most of the Gas tanks go when you fit gas.
Plus my fuel tank is in the rear of the car.
I feel troll.

Yeah Lushy I did mean inside the car. If you read the post it said 'wheel well' which usually is what it is called when inside the car, you know when you have to lift up the rear floor to get to the wheel-well.
Apo's and logies for the confusion it caused you.
But I'd say this thread is done and dusted long ago anyway.
