Hey Guys and Gals,
I am after anyone who may know where I can get a rear bar and wheel carrier to suit my 2000 WJ Grand Cheerokee? I have a front airbag winch bar on order from the States and a 12,000lb ironman winch and she's been lifted 2" by Ironman, and been chipped and throttle body spacer and K&N filter fitted by Poly 4X4, She is also fitted with 265/75/16 BFGoodrich AT's, And she going to have a dash pod fitted where I will fit the UHF and CVB radios. So I have some plan's for the girl but I 'm new to the 4Wdriving scene and am going to join the Melbourne jeep Owners Club and get out there and get her dirty!!But if anyone knows anything about the rear wheel carrier and bar please let me know, I've searched the web and found one guy in NSW but the tow hitch isn't rated to tow in Aus as it's from the States.
Cheers and safe driving to all,
medic42.

Hey all,
Have finally got onto a place in the States that does really nice front and rear bar and rock rails for Grands. Their website is index (http://www.kenmtnac.com) and the guy to speak to is Kyle. He's been really helpful, as have all you on the forum.
So thanks again to everyone and hope to see you out there soon.
safe driving

Want to know how you are doing with your Ironman suspension upgrade because I'm planning to change my original suspension too. Is it a better ride now instead of being a "Wobbly Jeep"? What is your new suspension lift?

Did you consider other brands? What made you consider Ironman?

Dear jeepinoy,
I've had the Ironman suspension kit fitted which gives me a 2inch lift, which is about as high as you can go without having to really start spending serious bucks on steering etc, and it's great. It rides on the road really well, but I haven't had a chance to really give haer a go out bush yet as i'm waiting on my front winch bar and rear bar with tyre carrier etc from the states. I've also gone for BF Goodrich 265/75/16's which give me another half an inch clearance as well. And they are great on the road and off.
Anyway i hope that that is of some help and hope to see you out on the trails soon.
Safe driving,

Thanks for the response Medic 42. I decided to order Rancho shocks from US thru my nephew who's coming this month. I really can't figure out how these aftermarket springs, which has higher spring rate, could give a better ride than the softer original springs. I'll change the shocks first and see how it goes. I also ordered a Rancho steering damper.

Still preparing my rig... just bought it 6 months ago and had just one off-road trip at Zigzag Railway last Feb with my mate in a Landie. You must be from Brisbane? Hope to meet you one of these days.
