Hey there ,
i drive a 94 rocky and basicaly the alloy side steps that came with it dont offer much protection and sit way to low , ive just recently bent the hell out of one on a rock step up at mount sugarloaf :(.
basicaly any company you guys know of make rock sliders or very sturdy side steps for the rocky ? , if not ill have to fab some up if thats the case any one got any ideas of pics that can help me get an idea of design and how they did theres doesnt have to be pics of your rockys just rock sliders in general

glenn did a write up in the mag (an issue or two ago) on making ur own rock sliders - it was part of the rangie build-up, shows u step by step the best way to go about it and there was a section on the DVD as well

that's the best way to go - u'll have a hard time finding side steps let alone rock sliders for the rocky - all after market stuff for the rocky is hard to come by

I am picking up my new bullbar srub bars and steps monday, they seem to protect most of the parts i need but a tip truck reversed into me and bent the lot so I get new ones

shit hey thats no good ,

yer ive sussed out the side steps glenno built they look neat as only thing is , is that ill use the existing side step mounting points and just make some up to suit i think ,

as long as u reckon the mounting points are strong enough to hold the weight (1.5T GVM I think the rockys are) and maybe a little extra if ur gonna come down hard on em - plus u can use them as a jacking point - if u trust them that much:D :thumb:
