Spot on, those wheels being factory would be worth a couple of g, the motor being factory probably worth around the 5g mark. Amazing they left that and took everything else, either they had no idea what they were doing, or they had a very good idea what they were doing.

He left it outside his house. The burn marks are oil as they drained the sump and then ran the engine. This picture is taken in the police holding yard. Like most I reckon it was taken to order and my first thought was it was a roll over that somebody needed panels for. They left some strange stuff on it though - shower heat exchange unit ??? go figure

So just to make sure there was absolutely nothing he could salvage from this, they drained the oil out of the engine then ran it to let it melt? What a bunch of complete See.You.N.T's. The only thing people like that deserve is a damn bullet.
Temporary Citizens i like to call them.

Thats just bizarre??? That's a lot of work to strip it the way they did. And a huge job to use the body they took. If you wanted the body, wouldn't you just take the whole body and cut out the identifying bits???? Weird............

has the owner considered he may have an enemy out there somewhere,
running it without the oil could be considered personel

You'd rock up down to the cop shop to confirm if it were your vehicle, see that and then be waiting for a celebrity to jump out and tell you that you had been pranked!!!

Like DJR96 said, would've been easier to take the whole body off and cut and weld the id plates. Any ideas how they knocked it off. I've got a 100 series aswell, might be something I can do to avoid mine being taken too.
There are some real low lifes out there. Not enough bullets either.

i really, dont understand what the F$%# would posess these low life C@#$^ and make them do that.
MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH AYE!
i really cant get a grasp on why they would do that to someone elses pride and joy, just such a low act,
but i do ponder, who steals panels???

it could be a bit personel but,
not takign the whole body, and just takign random bits,
and runnign the engine without the oil,
i think oldmick may be onto something,
