What the??? a guy at work in Adelaide had some 170's, suddenly he has 240's. Says he picked up 2 240 reflectors from cash converters.(crime converters).
Maybe yours have done the same?

I always discourage people from shopping at Cashies. If those people run out of business from lack of sales thieves will really have to think about how to offload their goods. Its just me and this reasoning is borne form getting a shite load of stuff nicked over the years (I am also very security concious now also). Sorry to hear about the lights mate. In January I lost my JVC in car stereo and my Navman s50 (from 4b parked in driveway) and my generator. Someone walked around the back while I was walking the dog! I live in Brunswick, Melbourne Inner suburbs so expect to get a bit of night time action here but while I'm walking my dog! Now I lock everything and don't feed the dog so much;)

hey zook-pos yeah the good thing about my 240s is that one is cracked and holds water but the shitty thing is that they are around the $100 each to replace , that sucks . good luck you might find out who has them

lol this time try to Narva Bull Spotties, they are massive and they come in chrome.

I think its cheaper than the light force i don't know. But where i work, at the mercedez benz rockalea area, Most of the trucks have these lights on them. Ive been on a trip, Mate had these light force XGT and i was on the truck with the Bull lights

we compared them, and clear winner was the bull lights. Their bright, and Fckn brilliant

I guess that's one thing with the lightforce's, you can just unscrew the reflector. I just put 240 blitzs on my rig, considered putting anti - theft nuts on, but never thought of the buggers just unscewing the reflector!!! What can be done to stop that?

Do you mean they took the light itself but left the bottom bracket? ie undid the horizontal bolt?

Because I have put a longer bolt in place of the horizontal bolt and put a locking nut then on it (I think its called a barrey or something close to that). They can undo the nut but it might stop then if in a hurry or disturbed. I know they can still steal them but its a hassle for them. They will still find a way to steal them but you just have to make it harder for them to deter them.

Sorry to hear but there is pure scum out there (and some do drive 4wd's).

Lock nuts, padlocks etc only keep honest theives out. A 12 gauge with bird shot is good but a 3030 may be better. Unfortunately the police and the courts have a different view.
