Hey guys i am very new to 4wding and also to this forum, i have had a poke around but cant really find much info on my new car.
Its a 2004 bravo 2.5dt dual cab.

What i am trying to find is a locking diff for the front, ive tried arb, tjm, detroit lockers but cant seem to find anyone that makes one. I know these cars are fairly rare but surely someone must make them??

Secondly i am wanting to raise the car a few inches, is my only real option winding up the torsion bars? and is it possible to do a boudy lift?

Any help appreciated
James

Gday Mate,

The Bravo isn't too rare at all and you can buy plenty of aftermarket goodies for it. I'm told at the moment there is no off the shelf locker for the front of a bravo, although 4wd systems in Adelaide are currently developing one. I for one will be grabbing one of those as soon as they are on the market. As for the suspension lift, I have a 2" TJM kit in mine and its fantastic. Has made a massive difference. Upgraded torsion bars, raised leafs, polyairs in the back and new shocks all round. To be honest haven't looked/not interested in a body lift.

Cheers mate.

GDay Mate,

It cost me around $2200 installed with polyairs from TJM. Im very happy with its performance. Heaps more control, no floatiness or wallowing. Heaps better with a load and/or towing.
