ok i know theres a few folks on here from western sydney area, how about we get together for a couple of ales, i suggest the pioneer tavern in penrith, on friday the 3rd of december, anyone keen to get together for a beer or ten ;D

Too many smokers in a pub outdoor area. I am that anti-smoking that I'll cross the road to get away from the smell of cigarette smoke (I'm an ex-smoker - I smoked for over 30 years). I won't go into the office if someone has been smoking - someone else can do my job until the smell clears. (I work in a non-smoking State Government establishment where the rule is regularly ignored).

If people come into my workplace and stand near me and they've just had a cigarette, I tell them to go away 'cos I can't stand the smell of them. I stopped travelling by train for that very reason even though I get free public transport travel.

One advantage of a place like Tench Reserve (apart from fresh air) is that we can all perve on each other's 4WDs, take photos of the things we want to copy, etc.

I don't mind where we have the gathering/partay...... as long as it's in Penrith somewheres..... my handbrake can drop me off and pick me up again ;D

Tench reserve might be the go, its on the river bank at Penrith, theres also a good playground for kids, i could chuck the BBQ on the back of the Lux and bring it down, if its hot we can always go for a dip in the river too

I don't think you will last long at the party mate. Your legs will be cactus and you will have welts everywhere if people hit ya good enough(I've still got a scar), its amazing how quickly the body will react for running etc when someone is shooting at ya, I took the next day off work ;D
