If you have a good I/net Provider, they may offer this service. (E.G. OPTUS offer a fairly simple Personal Web service as part of their package. It is pretty simple with limited options, but it is free with your normal fees!).

Mine has been made with a combination of MS Frontpage & Notepad.
Frontpage is very easy to use, but can create some "rubbish files"

i use a combination of dreamweaver and raw code.
My website is not worth looking at as it is WAAAYYYY out of date and the design is crappy.

ill see how i go, what is dream weaver?
forget dreamweaver Mark...... it would be too difficult to use unless you have some web publishing experience. Publisher makes web sites, but the code is messy and is often larger than need be (file size) because of the heap of code it uses. Word will also do a web site, but it's the same...... messy code, and huge page file sizes....... FrontPage is about the easiest to use because it's a WYSIWYG program (what you see is what you get) I use FrontPage and Dreamweaver..... some raw code editing, but not as much these days because Dreamweaver AND FrontPage have java functions and other stuff available.... makes life much easier. For a cold beer next time i'm in Sydney... i can get you FrontPage 2003 ;)
sounds good roe, ive put together a couple of pages using publisher, they look pretty good, how do i go about getting it on the net?

a ftp server i think
you can upload the content to your web server..... you have one with your internet account. It's easier if the main page is named index.html so when it's uploaded all you need to put in is the server address and your pgae will load up. For example, if i had one on my internet account server..... the address would be http://members.westnet.com.au/klown :) If you don't have an ftp program, there are free ones out there that are easy to use.

I made a quick Web page for my old man so we can post pics here easily. http://www.geocities.com/ekky4x4/Tuff_Landcruisers.html
It's my 1st web page ever. Best of all it's free :)
just go to http://www.geocities.com and click on Pagebuilder. You should be able to work it out, Shite I did.
This way all your doing is downloading geocities personal web page building tool and it's on the web as soon as you click save.....
