Watagan Mountains, Ourimbah State Forest (local to me)

Also for weekends, Lithgow / Blue Mountains area, Hill End, Abercrombie, Barrington Tops for weekends.

Most of the weekend ones are found in the Boiling Billy Publication - 4WD Treks Close to Sydney by Craig Savage & Kathy Stone.

I have some Oziexplorer files to follow some of my tracks on my website, if you use GPS & Laptop running OziExplorer.

I live near campbelltown i go bush bashing at Weddeburn there are heaps of tracks. I also go to Kurnell, and Menai of Heathcote Rd but you need to be in a club to go to Menai now.

Entry is on right hand side and place is called Boat Harbour 4x4 Park.
Lot of sand, but nothing serios.

Earlier this year there was lot of fresh water between sand dunes and it was bit of fun to drive through the lakes

Yes I think it is about $10 or $15 but you can get a 6 month pass for about $90 I think.
Take your litter with you. The beach near the lagoon looked like a tip last time I was there (more plastic than sand nearly) and when I made some enquiries found out the Kurnell Horse Riding mob acroos the road own the lease and when I approached them about the rubbish they really didn't give a F**k so It looks like it is up to us 4wders to be responsible.

Its 15 dollar day pass. Its ok down there. Good practice if you have never driven sand. There are a few tracks to the sides if your keen. Dont just drive through puddles without checking their depth first. People have lost their trucks in them. Its kinda like a very minute stockton, but alot easier. That said dont take it for granted. Take your snatchy and a second car if possible, and reduce tyre pressures!

Yup, see issue 68 (July 2004).

There is a write up in there in that beach.

BTW I have been there many years ago & I have to agree there is the odd White Pointer or 2 :o
