The Willowglen Challenge will not be run in 2003.
Toyota Landcruiser Club have confirmed that they were not been able to obtain suitable affordable insurance cover in time for this year's event.
They are still pursuing insurance options and hope to be able to run the event in 2004.
This has no impact on Nissan Trials or Woodpecker, both of which are confirmed as scheduled.

I hear a lot of other 4wd competitions in NSW are also having problems with insurance as well. Its a pitty they dont have as many 4wd parks in NSW as they do in QLD as so far QLD is having no probs at all running competitions in 4wd parks.

Are there any 4wd parks still operating in NSW?

After the Vic winch challenge investigation concludes, there may be further insurance company fallout as yet regarding events, so dont go holding your breath on any "scheduled" event just yet.

The Vic winch challenge and the Ateco warn challenge are 2 differents events run by 2 different clubs.

Sorry abrieviated it, not realising there were 2, The YV4WDC Ateco was the event I was referring to.

NSW parks operating in this area are Rover Park, Levuka, Brooklyn & Crystal Creek. Emu Creek may well reopen for limited 4wd use again within a year or two.

PM me if you need details, they're all within 3 hours of Brisbane.

Although any competion at these parks has been fairly low key since Emu Creek closed - thing's are looking up.
