Yesterday morning i put a new set of chrome tyre valve caps on after the previous set that matched the wheels were stolen, yesterday afternoon this second set was stolen, along with the top part of my GME aerial, while i was parked for work.
Today i come back to the car and find that the s***s have stolen the rest of my aerial by undoing the bolt and cutting the cable!!
I'm IRATE!!!
Man i hate people who do this type of thing. The 2 other people who park where i park have had the badges ripped off their cars, leaving big screwdriver gouges in the paint too.

This is the aerial: http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r288/bikemat/aerial.jpg
It's a GME AE4018K1
If anyone sees one around for sale, please let me know. Mine was missing the blue cap on the top and they cut the wire probably about 20cm from the base of the aerial

It really makes my blood boil that i saved hard for my car and everything on it as a uni student, and then some lowlife comes and just rips off whatever he wants grrrr

it's taking a lot not to swear

I feel for you bikemat - I had my side window smashed and the GPS mount stolen, along with the charger which was in the centre console. Cost nearly $500 and a week to get it all fixed and replaced, and it wasn't covered by insurance.

When I bought my UHF recently, I had an internal aerial installed. It sits on the rear side window and looks a lot like a normal demister. I specfically chose this type to prevent the lowlife stealing / breaking / trashing an external aerial. The range may not be as good as an external, but I only use the radio in a convoy or for short-range comms. Maybe worth considering as a replacement for yours?

Also sounds like you need to park somewhere else!

Condolences mate

I know how you feel the thing that sux about is there hard to track im a Ham Radio opperator an you would think the not so common Ham antennas wouldnt get pinched but they do an they cost a fourtune to go with it. Dont ask me why they do it there no good to anyone without the Radios to use them on or unless your a Ham yourself not that i could imagine another Ham doing such a thing. Ive moved mine to my roof rack to stop this from happening an it is also a better spot for them. makes it harder for the bastards if they carn't reach em to
