What's the best air filter replacement for a 4.5L Petrol 100 Series? Opinions?

I use the stock Toyota Air Filter. Same with the Oil Filter. The more I hear and read the more I am convinced of the high quality of genuine parts. I'm sure aftermarket stuff is good as well but I'm satisfied that the performance of genuine parts is good enough especially when quality is taken in to account. Aftermarket Air Filter products often claim better air flow and therefore economy/power benefits so read up as much as you can if it's worth the trouble.

yep use genuine ifyou dont mind a few extra $$$, to me more air flow = less filtration

Bought one the other day from toyota, $55 for my 80s with 1HD-FT. Better to get something you can trust if its going to be in the vehicle for a long time. I buy repco oil filter cause i change it at every 5,000kms with the oil.
