2LT Injection Pump on a 2L

Can anyone tell me if an Injection Pump of a 2LT will run on a standard 2L diesel engine. My pump on the 2L leaks like a siv and I have one of a 2LT.

It wil fit, but if the 2lt pump has a boot compensator, it might ovver fuel a bit.

I have fitted to the 2L engine but when I try to start it, it sounds like the timing is not right.
