cruiser power - chip for 80 series TD?

hey everyone just fixed the broken cruiser an its time to find some more power with the 300 buks ihave left over does anyone know about fitting one of those power chips / diesel chips for a 80 series landcruiser gxl 1991 model at all like do they infact work at all for a diesel this size or do u guys know of anything similar that will give me a bit more power. i just have 300 buks to burn an i wanna get rid of it

For a chip to work you need some electronics on the car to connect it to. You have no such item.

If you have a 1991 diesel then it is all mechanical so the chip is useless to you.. I don't know about the petrol models of that time but I would be surprised if they were computer controlled..

For your 300 I would be looking more at your exhaust... I got a 2 1/2" system from the flexi back including a sports muffler for $300. You will just need to find a good fitter to get the bends over the rear axle good and you will notice a big difference for your money.

get a oil, boost and pyro gauge and start playing with your boost/fuel ..

P.S. don't go over 14 PSI without intercooler.

dam hay all well thanks for all the input though guys i think ill head to the exaust side of things by the way im only new to the cruiser so im a dumb shit with them atm. an u say the hiclones work well yea? did u find heaps improvment

No big deal at any time toubieing a 1HZ .. just are not the same as DI as 1HD-T is, but work perfect ..
