hey guys im trying to sellmy skyline atm which ive had enough of and keen on getting into 4x4ing what really catches my eye is a 2000-02 Extra Cab Hilux 4x4 however i cant seem to see many if not any for sale in perth am i not looking in the right areas or ? anyhelp would be great

yeh mate they are pretty hard to come by ive found. have you checked out Perth4x4.net Forums - Powered by vBulletin (http://www.perth4x4.net/forum) someone on there might be abkle to point ya in the right direction

yea synergy just like yours ive only seen about 3 around perth and they look really great how much did that one set u back if u dont mind saying ? if not pm, my car is hard to sell not many ppl want a 380hp skyline :/

i wouldnt reccomend that one on ebay as its not registered. there is way to much work needed to get across the pits. also im pretty sure max height here in wa is 2"lift and im not sure if you can still get anything hire engineered.

Nope duallys are to get all the chicks in if you have a family you get a Prado :p And if you have a family and a Prado you get a dually cause xtra cabs suck :p :D :thumb:

defintely go dual cab. i am so glad i did. i almost went single cab dont know what i was thinking there.
unless you could make suicide doors for a hilux like the couriers/bravos/ranger/BT50..... that would sell me on an extra cab hilux

yea they both look great however a dual cab is easier to come by, and il most likely get a stocko as i have only seen a couple around witha few mods for sale, what you guys think about the snake racing 4' lift kit ? and yea i checked that link on ebay that car looks sweet as but i could imagine what would need to be done to get it registerd and getting it over to perth would be a hassle let alone the trouble im having selling my skyline atm :/ not many people want to pay for a looked after decently modded turbo car but, il c how it goes the sooner it goes the sooner i can get a 4x4

They are hard to find but they do come up. (there's a decent looking 1999 private sale in SwanView and a couple of dealer 2000+ units now on Carsales, and a few in the Eastern states). You can simplify your on-line hunt by just doing a keyword search for model LN172R. That's the 3.0D x-cab (3.0D 5L mech injection till Aug00 then 3.0Di 5LE EFI after Aug00). They never released a turbo unit in the x-cab in Oz. Good luck and take your time if you're not in a hurry. Don't be put off. A perfect blend of in-cab secure space with good tub length (1.8 mt, enough to sleep in - one up easily or two up if you want to share warmth)

Crack: If that was aimed at me, sorry mate but I need my ute and this one suits me quite well! The only reason I mentioned getting rid of it is because I have this problem that I really love going fast and a 380Hp Skyline might help with that :P
