i havent done a jeep, but i have done a few, c1500 Z71, 73 camaro, 64 f truck, and a few lesser knowns. your best bet is to find a good wrecker and take the whole front cut. quite often the steering column, and everything inc is not trasnerable between sides.. i do have 1 question though, why swap sides to the right when your in the states

Why would Jeep sell RHD jeeps in the US?
Why do you want to do the conversion?
are you moving to Australia or somewhere other than the US where a RHD is the way they drive?
I would think it would just be easier to buy a rhd Jeep especially as it is just to replace a stock LHD one

Jeep sells RHD Jeeps in the States for the Post Office, Grimbo, but obviously not in the specification the OP wants.........beats me why you would want one, though...... ;)

thanks to all who replied down under.the reason i want to do the conversion simply because its a challenge, plus ive been told by so many people that i CANT do it,so naturally i HAVE to do it now.jeep does sell factory RHD's here in the states for postal delivery, actually anyone can buy them.no one i know of in america has ever done a RHD conversion to a manual trans wrangler.we have a full service shop here with every tool you can think of,we have built street rods, muscle cars, etc.simply put we have run out of ideas and everything else is either too boring or we have allready built that.i will keep you guys posted of the progress.you can email me directly if you want: armyjeep43055@yahoo.com
thanks to all
