Anyone familiar with the area the car has been stolen from front of workshop on The COncord in Bundoora with its my dad and my brother just over the road in broad daylight approx 4-4.30 it was last seen veering left onto Grimshaw Street running a red light.
People gave chase inc ars on foot on bikes but it just DISSAPEARED.
Any info any ideas would love to hear from anyone.
Apart from the material things it had memory sticks for dads work which is loaded with irreplaceable data, digital camera and it goes on.
Sory about the spelling I have been driving all day with kids in car looking for any traces. Desperate you may say- YES we are.

I'm near La Trobe Uni, have plate numbers written down in my truck, will keep eyes open.
Thanks Chilli god we have done some miles around that area just looking in parks, empty lots laneways. Cant believe how brazen this theft was it is really quite unbelievable.
In a way we were hoping it was just a thrill thing and will find it dumped somewhere though if they knew the value of some of the gear in it then we wont be finding that.
If you see anything give me a call on 0408 058 546 please.
Or call us at the Workshop

Mate im a local will also keep an eye out but whoever took it would have to be a royal d**khead if they still had it in the area, They might have pinched it for the gear, fridge winch etc not that it helps losing all ya gear but fingers crossed you get ya car back(and ya gear too) good luck

Ok sure will, I can imagine what your Dad must be feeling, it's a beaut truck full of gear, he must be devastated, I know I would be. My eyes are open. Have faith it will turn up. All the best.

I work over that way mate, ill keep eyes open for you all.
Hate to say it, but was it unlocked with the key in it? (as lots of workshops do).
There was keys somewhere but in no obvious spot I am not sure where. It was just how brazen the theft was. The car was parked in driveway of AO Auto and the owner was in his workshop and then my dad and my brother were in the driveway of Graffiti Eaters in a tool truck for anyone who knows the area will understand how f***** brazen this was!

G'day jpc, no luck with the truck as yet? No sign from this end. On another note I'm interested in having my air con done (re-gassed and possibly the duct(s) are bloked as well???) as I have a little one on the way. I'd rather bring it up to you guys than go elsewhere if you've got the time after new years sometime? What is the business name? Cheers and I still have faith it will turn up, although I reckon the stuff out of the back will be gone, still many cars turn up a week or even weeks after they were stolen and in good order. Shocker of a xmas in this regard but I hope the rest of it turns out ok. John.
CHilli give me a call RE regassing and air con work 0408 058 546 we can definetly look after you the business name is Diamond Valley Radiators.
As for dads car the Etag was f****** well used yesterday at 12.43 in the Burnley Tunnel heading away from the city. How brazen can they be it seems now that they have laid low and it has been in our local area for the past week or so and have now decided to move it but it could be anywhere.
Who would think that you could remain so calm as to drive that big heap and steal it let alone along a f****** freeway.
We are now trying to work to see if we can get CCTV footage that may show the car.
Fingers crossed!!! if would be a fantastic xmas present for him.
OK all it has been confirmed the car was definetly travelling on the Burnley Tunnel yesterday afternoon at 12.43.
It was heading towards Dandenong way. Please if you see it Rego -TVH 153 very noticeable car engel stickers on back right had window, lots of collingwood stickers. There is a large black roof rack and on the back a bowling ball size Hella brand light mounted to the back of roof rack with all new wiring. It is the pop top model.
It is lifted 2inches with Goodyear Wrangler ATR's on it.
Its just given us another glimmer of hope the old girl is still around. When it was stolen it had its main fuel tank just filled and then the sub tank was 1/4 full. So maybe they have been to a servo.

No worries I'll be in touch after the New Year. AT least the truck in still on the road with a chance of turning up rather than stolen and burnt out on the side of the road. Fingers crossed.

The car has been found. It has been stripped and arrived at I believe a local scrap metal recycler sometime in the last week or so.
We believe that the police are hot on the heels of who they believe took the car.
Fingers crossed they get the little mongrels!!!
