Hi everyone.....this thread is particularly relevant to urban Sand Gropers, but please read anyway.

I got talking to a lovely lady (Tracy) who parked her XR8 next to my wagon in a Jondalup carpark today, and we got talking. It turns out Tracey's son had his 75 series stolen from a carpark at work. I offered to place an ad on here, and she was so grateful. She has a Patrol herself and it's just another positive point to the 4wd community for being willing to help out if they can. I am glad to be a part of it.

Anyway back to the poor lads Tojo; I am sketchy on all the location details, but I believe it was taken from around the Lansdale/Gnangara area last Friday (7th of Deccember). The son is only 21, and it was his pride and joy, 1st fourbie and all, and unfortunately, it was insured, but everyone at the workplace left their keys in the car incase their vehicle had to be moved for construction, or other workmates access etc. From what i can gather, the son works for his old man, and they lashed out to buy it for him.

If anyone has seen it, Tracy's number is 0439 933 346
or you can call me (Foxy) and I will let her know; 0408 900 495

Im in that area and will keep a lookout for it. The trouble is there are so many.
A pic would help idebtify it.

The old "everyone leave your keys in the ignition so we can shift it" doesnt work with me.
Ill park it up the road if I have too. I wonder how they will go with insurance?

Sad to hear that you cant even leave the keys in the ute on site. We do do it all the time at work and have never had a problem, this is actually the first time ive heard of it happenning.
We do a fair bit of work at the sand quarry at wangarra, we were there today and have never had a problem. Sad, but at least he'll get the insurance and can only hop the bastrd who took get whats coming.

Cheers
Dave
